Club Tournament
All semi finals need to be arranged and played by Saturday 8th September. Please contact me as soon as possible if you are having any difficulty arranging matches.
Finals Day is on Sunday 9th September from 10am. All members are very welcome to come along to support the finalists and enjoy some refreshments. We look forward to seeing you.

Hospital Cup
The Hospital Cup tournament is progressing well. Unfortunately, Stansted entries aren’t. We have one pair left in the ladies doubles tournament at the semi-final stage.The tournament is a fundraiser for the League of Friends of Saffron Walden Community Hospital. There will be a raffle held on finals day (22 September at Stebbing).  Stansted’s contribution to the prizes is going to be a red, white and blue themed hamper.  So if you have anything red, white and/or blue that you could donate, please leave it in the box in the cloakroom area in the clubhouse.  Thank you! – Daphne

New Tennis Balls
Jan Hollis has several tubes of new balls which she is selling for £5 per tube. Please contact her on 812073 should you wish to buy any. She also has plenty of used balls of all qualities which can be bought for £1 per tube.

Monday 10th September – 7pm onwards – Ladies’ Night.
Saturday 22nd September – Hospital Cup Finals Day at Stebbing Tennis Club
Sunday 23rd September (12.45pm start) – Clower Girls’ Singles Tournament
