Friendly Ladies-Only Tournament 18th June 2024

On Saturday, June 8th, 16 ladies got together at the courts to play a friendly ladies-only round-robin tournament and have lunch. After nearly six hours of play, the winners were Daphne Lunnon and Louise Chalk, who defeated Cathy Brenner and Chris Bailey 6-1. The consolation winners were Val Ashwood and Dina McDonald, who won 4-2 against Carol Cook and Lyn Timms. Debbie Lane was the organiser for the day.
